I received this product on time and it worked perfectly. It does however seem like there is a tangle in the thingy but it is from where it was inside of the package. As far as hearing is concerned...its ok...if everything is quite a faint heart beat can be heard. But, my son was screaming from the top of his lungs and I could hear just fine. I do recommend this product for people that are just starting out or for someone that is looking for something less expensive for a class or something like that.
