Even the various size ear pieces do not keep this thing from falling out when my father tips his head just a little bit. The amplification is not very good and the battery needs to be recharged after just a couple of hours.

If he wears one of his old real hearing aids in one ear and this amplifier in the other we can have "sort of" a conversation, but I would not recommend spending money on this item.
