Although the product is not intended for sleep apnea, I bought the mouthpiece to use with my cpap. I had hoped that I could use it to keep mouth closed when I sleep. I use a chinstrap and it affects the seal that I get with my full mask. That didn't work out. I also found the mouth piece to be a little unconfortable. I do still use it though. If I don't get a good night's sleep and I am able to catch a nap then I find the mouthpiece is good for that. I snooze about 20 minutes with and I don't snore. I feel refreshed after that. Without the mouthpiece I would snore or snort and wake up. The nap would not benefit me.
